I’m not the soccer player or the chess referee; I’m the other Roberto Ricca, the photographer 😉
When I’m not shooting, I love soaking in Mediterranean sunsets and reading Ammaniti’s novels, and I cherish telling fantastic stories to my children, who also pose my greatest photographic challenge.
After starting in TV and communications, focusing on marketing and advertising, I pursued my passion and became a professional photographer.
As a ‘light creative,’ I specialize in capturing precious wedding moments. I’ve always loved photographing people, whether in personal projects or studio portraits.
I believe life stories are told through glances, faces, and subtle gestures, and that’s what I aim to capture with my lens—emotional grandmothers, tender hand touches, meaningful looks, tears of joy, and friends’ embraces.
My style blends contemporary reportage with fine art, enhanced by an artistic flair. I don’t force poses; my basketball experience taught me the importance of seizing the moment and developing peripheral vision—key skills at weddings.
I joke that I specialize in photographing those who dislike being photographed.
I prefer not to be the center of attention, so I understand the feeling of those about to marry who want an experienced and ‘invisible’ photographer by their side.”
